Another one!

Check out what I found in the mailbox today!

...it's Michael's moly and a surprise for me: handmade, signed art from Yvonne! So cool, Yvonne, thanks -- I love it!

Michael's "Bump in the Night" book is too long for my little scanner...I'll have to figure out how to piece everything together so you can see the full greatness of it (anyone know how to do that?). I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but on the last page Yvonne left me some creepy spider web type things to work from...I already have some ideas for it...

So now I have two molys on the go. I've been working on Yvonne's (I'll post pictures soon) and now I'll be thinking of scary things for Michael's, just in time for Halloween...nice timing!

HOLY MOLY!!!

I finally finished Yoda's Moly! I hope everyone likes it, especially Yoda. I dont know if she was going for a religon theme but I was inspired by her's so I stuck with that. I think I got over zealous with 3 pages and my gold pen... I think its my new guilty pleasure. Enjoy the pics below it will be off to Yvonne by the end of the week.

Another ones off!

I just sent you another Moly Steph :) I need a new one!!! :)

guilty guilty

Here is my guilty secret... murder mysteries..Agatha, Poirot, Hitchcock...and as an insomniac, I get plenty of time to read them.
oh, and there is a little bit of glitter as my crime of art :-)

Another bump in the night

Coming your way!
Crayon etching, water color, pen and acrylic.

Hey, look what I got today...

Yvonne's moly came to visit and it is very cool to finally see it in person! Yvonne, I love the theme -- and it's open to so many different interpretations. I already have so many good ideas for it...the only problem is, now I have to narrow it down to one.
Sorry for the picture-heavy post, I got way too excited, especially when I found the secret note inside. It's not every day you get a lobster bib in the mail.
I think this moly and I will have a lot of fun. We'll keep you posted.

moly arrived safe and sound

Yay he is here, slightly bemused, worrying that he didnt bring his wet weather gear ( but a little drop of whiskey will warm him up :-) )
Just a little question...can I use glitter ( quite a crime against art in my opinion ,hahahaha )

Fish

Finally I finished!!! I'm sorry I havent' been it touch but I've been a little bussy here.

I wasn't too sure about what I wanted to make with the F's but now I feel very happy about this one. I hope you like it :)

Have a good trip!

This past weekend, my moly packed his bags and left to check out Lynne's part of the world. He was a little nervous to travel so far from home, but I told him he'd probably have a really good time...I heard she has whiskey and chocolate. :) Have fun, little moly!

Progress

As everyone makes progress on the moly's please make a post with a photo so we can see how it's all coming together. Yoda I will be starting yours very soon...we'd love to get some post from you on here as well! :)

Ready to go!

My very first moly is finally done. I'm so excited to be a part of this! I'm mailing it in the morning -- soon it will be taking a little vacation over with Lynne.

It's Flying your way

I'm sending this tomorrow! Just got your's this weekend too Michael! So exciting!

When I was 9 years old

I've got more work to do, but here is a start:)

Almost ready!

My entry is just about done...my theme is Guilty Pleasures and/or Crimes of Art. I was trying to keep it open-ended, so you can interpret it however loosely you want. And I wanted an excuse to draw some cake, my personal guilty pleasure. :)
In the next couple days, it will be on its way to you, Lynne!

It's off!!!

My first moly to be sent out on a journey! Its coming to Oregon! Keep an eye out!

NEW HEADER!!!

I quickly designed a new header for us that included our artwork. Hopefully everyone likes it. If one of you would like to make a better one feel free to do so and replace the current one. How is everyone doing on theirs?

Hooked up!

Hi Gang. Welcome to moly_x!

The moly_x_38 blog is now linked at the bottom of the moly_x flickr site. I have added a few features to the blog to make it consistent with the other blogs. I added a list of "Beloved Links" which I hope y'all will add to. I added "THE NETWORK" so y'all can get from on blog to the next with relative ease. That's it.

Have fun!

Yoda's Moly

I just recieved Yoda's Moly today and I can't wait to get started in it. It looks even more amazing in person!!!

Away they go!!!!

Here is a map of our group members locations and where they will be traveling to!
